Where AgencyZoom is better

  • Built for insurance: AMS and rater integrations, renewal automation and winback automation
  • A flat price for a whole small agency: every plan includes up to 7 users
  • Plans made for captive agents, with Allstate and Farmers tabs on its own pricing page
  • Producer referral sites, Google Reviews on Growth and Pro, and a service center on Pro

Where Rillo is better

  • Less for one to three people: three Rillo seats cost less than Essential, monthly or yearly
  • Starts without a card: 30 days free, against a 14-day trial whose first charge comes when it ends
  • AI in every seat: talk after a call and the record is drafted for you to check
  • Nine trade presets, so an agency that also writes mortgages or sells to realtors runs one tool

Which costs less?

It depends on headcount. Essential is $149 a month, or $119.20 a month billed annually, for up to 7 users. For one to three people, Rillo seats ($49 each, or $39 billed yearly) cost less; from four people up, Essential costs less.

Does Rillo replace my AMS?

No, and AgencyZoom does not either, by its own account: it works as an extension to your AMS. Rillo is the sales book for calls and follow-ups.

Is Rillo an AgencyZoom alternative?

For a small agency, or a producer who wants each call written up, yes. An agency that wants AMS sync, renewal automation and carrier-specific plans will find AgencyZoom built for that.

Prices and features checked on 14 October 2026, from AgencyZoom's own pages: AgencyZoom pricing: plans, 7 users included, the trial and the annual discount; AgencyZoom help: the plan types. Prices change; if this looks stale, tell us. Every claim about AgencyZoom is from what it publishes, and nothing here says what it cannot do.
