SMS terms
Texts you said yes to. Nothing else.
Who texts you through Rillo, what they send, and how to stop.
- Only with your yes
- Reply STOP to stop
- Never sold
Texting is coming soon. Rillo sends no texts yet. This page says how texting works once it starts, and it applies from the first text.
Who texts you
- Rillo. Texts from Rillo LLC to people who use Rillo: sign-in codes, account and billing alerts, reminders for a demo or a setup visit, and replies from Rillo support. The program name is Rillo.
- A business, sent with Rillo. A shop or a sales team that uses Rillo can text its own customers: a booking reminder, a text that your order is ready, a note when it has been a while since your last visit, or a reply to a question you asked. The program name is the business's own name, and each text says it was sent with Rillo. The business is the one texting you, and the business reads your replies.
- Never anyone who did not say yes. No one is texted through Rillo for marketing, or at all, without agreeing first. A number someone else typed in for you is never texted until you agree yourself.
How you agree
- A box you tick yourself. Wherever you give your mobile number, a box beside it asks if you want texts. It is never ticked for you. Your number works without it, and saying no changes nothing else.
- For Rillo's own texts the box reads: "Text me about my Rillo account, like sign-in codes, alerts and reminders. Message frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. See SMS terms and Privacy."
- For a business's texts the box names the business: "Text me about my bookings and visits from the business name, sent with Rillo. Message frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help."
- What is kept. Your yes or no, the time, the exact words you saw and the page you were on, so it can be shown later what you agreed to.
How often, and what it costs
- Message frequency varies. It depends on what you do: a sign-in sends one code, a booking sends its reminders.
- Msg and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's plan decides that. Rillo and the business charge nothing for a text.
Stop, start and help
- Reply STOP to stop. STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT or STOPALL to any text stops that program's texts. You get one text saying so, then no more.
- Reply START to start again. START, YES or UNSTOP turns them back on.
- Reply HELP for help. HELP or INFO sends back who is texting and how to reach a person.
- Or reach Rillo support. Email support@rilloapp.com or call 520-503-5030.
The fine print
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your number stays yours. Mobile numbers and texting consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing. The privacy page says so, with everything else Rillo holds.
