Rillo vs Attio

AI in the seat.Or AI on a meter.

Attio is one of the best-made CRMs for a desk team: it builds itself out of your email and calendar, and it runs agents that prospect for you. It also meters that AI in credits. Rillo does not, and Rillo is for somebody holding a phone in a parking lot rather than a laptop.

RilloAttio
Starting price$49 a seat a month, or $39 billed yearly. Business is $79.Free for up to 3 seats. Plus is $35 a user a month billed annually, $44 monthly, up to 10 seats. Pro is $79 annually, $99 monthly, with unlimited seats. Enterprise is custom. Prices as published on 20 September 2026.
More peopleEvery seat is the full product at the same price.A seat CEILING is part of the plan: the free tier stops at 3 and Plus stops at 10, so a team of eleven is on Pro whatever else it needs.
Free to try30 days free, no cardA "14-day trial of our Pro plan", plus a permanently free tier for up to 3 seats
AIIncluded in every seat. Talk after a call, review what Rillo drafted, tap to send. No AI credits.Metered in credits. Ask Attio spends seat credits first and then workspace credits, and workflows and AI attributes spend workspace credits: "Credits are charged based on the blocks that actually run during a workflow execution." Run out of both and "they will no longer be able to use Ask Attio." Paid plans can buy more; the free tier cannot.

Where Attio is better

  • A genuinely free tier for up to three people, which the Rillo CRM does not have
  • A self-building data model: email, calls and calendar captured automatically, joined to product usage and billing from the tools you already run
  • Agents that prospect and qualify on their own, with enrichment and ICP scoring built in
  • A deep integration ecosystem, including Claude, Slack, Clay, Linear, Notion and Stripe

Where Rillo is better

  • No credits and no counters. Talking after a call, the drafts and asking Rillo about your own book are part of the seat and do not run out mid-week
  • No seat ceiling in the middle of the ladder: a team of eleven pays a seat price, not a tier
  • Built for a person in a truck: talk it in on a phone, read what it wrote, tap to send
  • Nine industries with their own words, stages and tools, where Attio is a data model you shape yourself

Is Rillo an Attio alternative?

For a field team, yes. For a software company whose reps live in a browser and whose pipeline is built by agents, Attio is built for that and Rillo is not.

What happens when Attio credits run out?

Attio's own help page says a member out of both seat and workspace credits "will no longer be able to use Ask Attio". Paid plans can buy more. Rillo has no equivalent, because there is nothing to run out of.

Is Attio cheaper?

At three people, free beats any paid seat. Past ten seats the comparison is Pro at $79 a user a month billed annually against a Rillo seat, plus whatever credits that team ends up buying.

Prices and features as of 18 September 2026, from Attio's own pages: Attio pricing: plans, seat ceilings, annual and monthly prices, the trial, included credits; Attio help: what spends seat and workspace credits, and what happens when they run out; Attio: the agentic revenue positioning and the integration list. Prices change; if this looks stale, tell us. Every claim about Attio is from what it publishes, and nothing here says what it cannot do.

One login. One record.

The card you hand someone, the list at your counter, and the accounts your reps carry are the same record. Nothing is separate, so nothing has to be joined up later.

You meet someone. They scan the card. They're in your Rillodex.

Shops

They come to your counter. They join at the register. They're on your list.

CRM

Your rep calls them. Rillo writes it down. It's the same record.

Hand it over, they scan it, you're in their phone. Everyone you meet lands in your Rillodex, and Discover shows who's around.
