Rillo vs Salesforce
Running in minutes, not running a project.
Salesforce is the CRM the category is named after: deeply customizable, an app marketplace, and built to scale to companies with dedicated admins. That depth is also the cost, in dollars and in setup. Rillo is built for a small or mid-size team that wants the whole thing running on a phone today, no admin required.
| Rillo | Salesforce | |

| Starting price | $49 a seat a month, or $39 billed yearly. Business is $79. | Free Suite is $0 a user a month with basic CRM. Starter Suite is $25 a user a month. Pro Suite is $100 a user a month, billed annually. Read on 22 September 2026. |
| More people | Every seat is the full product at the same price. | The product itself changes by tier: Core is $195 a user a month billed annually, Advanced is $395, Max is $550, each unlocking more of the platform, not just more seats. |
| Free to try | 30 days free, no card | A free trial is offered; the pricing page does not state its length. |
| AI | Included in every seat. Talk after a call, review what Rillo drafted, tap to send. No AI credits. | Agentforce for Sales, autonomous AI agents, is a separate add-on from $125 a user a month. Revenue Intelligence is a further add-on from $220 a user a month. A fuller AI suite is bundled starting at the $550 Max tier. |
| Built for | Nine industries and 22 presets, from realtors and mortgage to fleets and service trades | Every industry and company size, from a five-person team on Starter Suite to a global enterprise on Max, with an ecosystem of third-party apps (AppExchange) built around it. |
Where Salesforce is better
- AppExchange: thousands of third-party apps and integrations built for Salesforce specifically
- Deep customization and automation at Pro Suite and above: custom objects, flows and a platform other software is built to plug into
- Enterprise-grade security, expanded data capacity, and backup and recovery, at the Advanced and Max tiers
- Slack, Tableau Next and bundled "Momentum" at Core and above, and a full AI suite plus Agentforce for Sales at Max
Where Rillo is better
- Every Rillo seat is the whole CRM at one price. Salesforce's quoting, forecasting and deeper AI live behind higher tiers, most billed annually only
- AI is in every seat: talk after a call and Rillo writes the record. Salesforce's AI agent, Agentforce for Sales, is a $125-a-user-a-month add-on on top of a plan
- Nine trades with real presets out of the box; Salesforce is a platform a team configures, often with a consultant, before it fits one
- 30 days free, no card, and nothing is billed by the month on Rillo the way Salesforce's higher tiers require an annual commitment
Is Rillo a Salesforce alternative?
For a small or mid-size team that wants to be running today without an admin or a consultant, yes. For a large enterprise that needs custom object modeling, an app marketplace or dedicated Salesforce administrators, Salesforce is built for that scale and Rillo is not trying to be.
Which costs less?
Salesforce's Starter Suite ($25 a user a month) is cheaper on paper than a Rillo seat. The features Rillo includes at every seat, AI drafting, quoting and follow-ups, sit behind Salesforce's Pro Suite and up, most billed annually, which cost more than Rillo per seat.
Do I need help setting it up?
Salesforce is commonly implemented with an admin or a partner, which is a real cost beyond the license. Rillo is built to be running in about a minute, on a phone, with no separate setup project.

The card you hand someone, the list at your counter, and the accounts your reps carry are the same record. Nothing is separate, so nothing has to be joined up later.

They come to your counter. They join at the register. They're on your list.
